It’s been a while since we featured the work of Los Angeles-based design and illustration studio DKNG (previous posts here and here). Since we had just looked at some stellar minimalist bird illustrations, we thought DKNG’s dog breed illustrations a fitting followup. Design duo Dan Kuhlken and Nathan Goldman were commissioned by Golden Doodle “lifestyle brand for dog lovers” to illustrate ten of their favorite dog breeds, which were eventually used for some rad swag aimed at dog lovers. The results are terrific! We love DKNG’s bold, clean style.

In keeping with the theme of movie posters, we want to take an opportunity to showcase the excellent work of Los Angeles-based design firm DKNG (see our previous post here). This time it’s for the iconic 1980s film Big Top Pee-Wee. We love the clean lines and attention to so many details. It’s no surprise that the limited-edition poster sold out on Mondo the DAY it was released.

Dan Kuhlken and Nathan Goldman of Los Angeles-based design firm DKNG have found their niche in the music and entertainment industries. They have a great aesthetic that seems to evolve with each new project. We particularly love the Bon Iver tour poster (beautiful halftoning) and Paramount Pictures’ 100th Anniversary print (amazing icon set).
